and dominates the waterfront area of the city...The monument
in front of the cathedral was placed there in 1863 and is in honor
of Russian Tsar Alexander II who ruled Finland at the time.

.. did you see anything like a homeless person or street performer? Graffiti? Gangs?
Helsinki was about as perfect as a city can be, I saw no graffiti, homeless or litter...probably why Newsweek picked Finland as the best country to live in in the world.
