Scenes in St Petersburg Russia...

Me in front of the Church on Spilled Blood (Church of the Resurrection
of Jesus Christ) in St Petersburg. This beautiful church built in the
traditional Russian style with onion domes was constructed as a memorial
to Tsar Alexander II on the spot he was assassinated in 1881.

  3. Perhaps you've discussed this but did you research what you wanted to view and found the locations or was this a group tour that had these locations?
    Photos are gorgeous.

  4. Terrific photos, Warren. Enjoying following your travels. It's a shame about that Pepsi advertising. It sure jumps out amongst that old architecture.

  5. Thanks so much Ann and Scott for the nice comments...to answer your question Ann I did quite a bit of going through travel guides and deciding what I wanted to see...I was on my own through the trip I think it's much more satisfying for me that way, it gives me a sense of accomplishment. Yes Scott that Pepsi sign placement is awful...there were a lot of modern buildings they could have put it on...
