A Walk Around Djurgården Island in Stockholm

Djurgården Island was my favorite place for walking and birding in Stockholm. It was once a Royal Game Park and was the site of hunts by the King and his entourage. It's now a beautiful green space with several museums including the large open air museum called Skansen on the side of the island nearest the city and a wonderful forested natural area on the far side.
